Classicism and rustic spirit come together in this impressive kitchen on the north coast of France. The creators? None other than the team members of our distributor in this area, LG Agencement. We’ll tell you all the secrets of this project!
Let’s start with the layout. The space designated for the kitchen is the lower part of a large, open-concept space with two levels. Spacious and square in plan, the kitchen is bordered on one side by the stairs that provide access to the rest of the room and, on the adjacent wall, by a spectacular picture window with access to the garden. This arrangement immediately suggested an L-shaped layout, and that’s what LG Agencement did. On one side of this L, we find everything needed for food preparation, from the imposing gas stove (worthy of a restaurant) to the oven, passing through a wide variety of furniture for storing utensils and ingredients. All arranged in a line of base and wall cabinets. On the wall, we also find a decorative hood that brings back memories of another era.
The entire kitchen has a traditional flavor thanks to our distributor’s decision to use our Aviano model. Made of oak wood and with a classic frame, this front can be lacquered with a matte effect, respecting the wood grain pattern in any color of the R.A.L. chart. In this case, the color chosen is a dark petrol blue, which perfectly matches the interior of the furniture, our Amazonas laminate model, with an oak effect.
On the wall that closes this L, we find a large piece of furniture generated by floor-to-ceiling columns. In the corner, we start with a large built-in refrigerator and continue with a more formal-looking display cabinet intended primarily for storing tableware, glassware, and other items for the table.
And in the center of this L, a kitchen island that will not leave you indifferent. Dedicated to food preparation and the sink, LG Agencement has wisely used it to delimit the work area from the dining area. In the latter, they have arranged a large rectangular table overlooking the garden.
